Assistant Property Manager

ViaWest Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager/Commercial Property Administrator.  This position will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of day-to-day management, construction management, and renewal/expansion leasing for multiple office, industrial and retail properties in the greater Phoenix area.


  • Input invoices in Avid and code for PM approval
  • Assist PM in collecting, tracking and updating all Tenant insurance certificates
  • Prepare Service Contracts and Work Authorizations as requested by PM
  • Various tenant calls as instructed by PM
  • Prepare Tenant correspondence as requested
  • Direct service/maintenance calls to proper vendors and maintenance personnel; track calls; record to permanent files; follow through with Tenant.  Functions under direction of PM
  • Manage Angus work orders and disburse to engineering
  • Manage engineering workflow
  • Direct vendor services as needed
  • Responsible for tracking and receiving all Vendor insurance certificates for liability and workers comp
  • Periodic site visits to meet vendors or tenants (ie Tenant Touch)
  • Property security reports – obtain, review, report as needed and file 
  • Assist in bidding process
  • Assist in budgeting process
  • Assist with CAM Reconciliation process
  • Responsible for property graphics
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail

  • Provide reliable and courteous service to customers (tenants and vendors)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Minimum three years working in an office environment (preferably in commercial real estate)
  • Arizona Real estate license preferred
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license – driving may be required (mileage reimbursed)
